Is it Islam or traditions

Traditions is a main part in our society,some of those traditions are good and others are bad...Many people act generously or polite because of the traditions ONLY.Being Muslim,means you have to do good things in life,for one purpose - ALLAH.

Socaity gave women some rights,but Islam gave women all rights,took care of all the details,rights,and dutuies.Qur’anic revelation raised the status of women. “Men and women are equal in the eyes of God; man and woman were created to be equal parts of a pair” (51:49) .

Women have rights in Islam,more than they can gain without Islam:

   Violence against women is rejected in Islam
• 
  
  women have the right to obtain education
• 
  
  right to o work & earn money if they need it or want it - to work in certain circumstances and under strict conditions:The work should not require the woman to violate Islamic law (e.g., serving alcohol), and be mindful of the woman's safety. If the work requires the woman to leave her home, she must maintain her 'modesty'.A woman may not be alone with a man, because as per Hadith, the devil will tempt them

  The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice
• 
  
  The right to obtain divorce from her husband
• 
  
  The right to get sexual satisfaction from her husband
• 
  
  refuse or approve for marriage proposal
• 
  
  custody of their children after divorce - until the child reach a certain age

  Equality of reward for equal deeds
• 
  
  the right of inheritance - In general, Islam allows females half the inheritance share available to males who have the same degree of relation to the deceased

  Hijab is the Quranic requirement that Muslims, both male and female, dress and behave modestly.
