Rationing in water consumption is a MUST in Islam

Islam clarified all life details,including Water consumption..Prophet Mohammad(PBUH) said “Don't waste water even if you are on a running river”.
Once,I was having a nice meal at my friend's house.After we were done eating,we moved dinning stuff back to the kitchen & placed them on the sink.My friend insisted on doing the dishes all by her own.I noticed she never turn the water off while watching the dishes,Seriously,I couldn't tolerate,so I advised her regarding water conservation.Being a little stubborn,she didn't listen to me & kept doing things her way.In Jordan for example,water comes only once per week,meaning that we can't take a bath more than twice/week,or do laundry more than once/week,even sometime we would have no water lift for a couple of days,due to water deficiency.

Did you ever lost your path?

Loosing path is a main key for success.It is really hard to have a main goal.Our goal as Muslims is to attain the pleasure of Allah subhana wa ta'ala.

It takes so much effort to trace the right path in order to achieve our goals.For me,the key to do so,is to keep in mind that Allah is watching me all the time and that I may die suddenly,this helps me focus on my goal and keep in hard work.

Life these days provide us with many opportunities to loose our path,like wasting my time with meaning-less gatherings,watching silly movies,playing online games,going shopping...etc.I don't want to be separated from this world,i just need to spent a little time on these things,instead of wasting my hole day.

The way I arrange my time helps me reaching my goal and prevents me from loosing the path.I do watch TV for mostly half an hour,go out with my friends or family two days per week,go online for useful things,but i also do pray minimum five prayers/day,read Quran,hear Quran,meet my neighbours,cook,teach my kids,work for making money,clean my home,play with my kids,attend Islam classes,take care of my husband,help my friends and support them,call my mam daily,keep in touch with my sister and brothers almost daily...etc.

Quran burning plan - The issue isn't the images,it is the acts

I am sure all of you heared the news,about plans for burning the Quran...I don't care who,why,or where.The only thing i care for that this action or any such actions won't be harmfull for Islam or Quran,it will hurm only the one who does these action.
But why ,all of a sudden, a pastor with only a few dozens followers in central Florida managed to attract the world's cameras and notepads to his threat to burn Qurans?
maybe he thought "Instead of dying in obscurity, i'll die a has-been". Good work!!!

The best action is to ignore such loosers...Neither Islam nor Quran will ever be hurmed or touched by such silly actions.

feel like killing someone

Did you ever felt like killing someone...I mean killing someone for real because you really hates him and you can't just walk away, neither can he.A friend, a family member, a work partner, or a relative.
Why would you stop? are you scared? you don't want to be locked in the prison? you may regret later on? you don't want to go this far? you want to act like a human being with emotions?


For me, the ONLY reason that would make me stop is Allah. Obeying Allah and fearing from Allah. Quran says killing one innocent person is like killing the whole of mankind.The sanctity of any human life is to be respected and any violation in that regard is paramount to the worst crime. Mercy is at the heart of the Islamic call, “We sent thee (O Muhammad) not save as a mercy for the peoples” (21:107).

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

Why did you said that??How come you acted that way!! Why would you ever do such a thing???This is wrong,this is very wrong,whats your problem??Did you used your mind before you said that!!!It looks like you didn't view your image in the mirror before you left the house!

Sometimes i hear myself yelling in their faces,but i remember the Qur'an.Allah says in Surat Aal-i-Imraa: "So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him]".(Aal-i-Imraan 3:159)

I try so hard not to give them an attitude,not to critisize them back,and to accept what they say as a kind of advise.This is called the art of dealing with people and gaining their love and trust.I read a book called Enjoy your life - the link for that book is attached in my blogger home page-in which the writer provide us with many ways to gain people's love.

Quran competition for the kids

Since I planed to raise my kids as a good Muslims, memorizing, reading,and following Quran is a main key for this.

I made up an interesting way to encourage them.
I made a Quran memorizing competition for all the kids I know. A class will be made weekly with prizes for their efforts.


The Qur’aan (Quran / Koran) is the word of the Lord of the Worlds, which Allah revealed to His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), to bring mankind forth from darkness into light.

Allah has told us in the Qur’aan (Quran / Koran) the stories of the earlier and later generations and the creation of the heavens and the earth. He has explained in detail what is halaal and what is haraam, the basics of good manners and morals, the rulings of worship and dealings with others, the lives of the Prophets and the righteous, and the reward and punishment of the believers and disbelievers. He has described Paradise, the abode of the believers, and He has described Hell, the abode of the disbelievers. He has made it (the Qur’aan (Quran / Koran)) an explanation of all things:

“And We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’aan (Quran / Koran)) as an exposition of everything, a guidance, a mercy, and glad tidings for those who have submitted themselves (to Allah as Muslims)”

One of the Qur'an’s most important attributes is that it reached us in the very same form in which it was revealed to our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). In: [We have sent down the Reminder, and We will preserve it.] (Al-Hijr 15: 9), Allah promised to protect it.



The Divine Scriptures that were revealed before Islam lost their original forms over time; they are either incomplete or not fully accurate. In the case of the Qur'an, however, Allah placed the revelations into our Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) memory. In addition, after he received each revelation, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told his numerous Companions to write them down, thereby ensuring the Qur'an’s preservation in its original textual form. Caliph Abu Bakr (632-634) had the Qur'an compiled into a single copy, and Caliph Uthman (644-656) had copies of it sent to important Islamic cities. The following verses explain how our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tried to remember the revelations, and how Allah helped him do so:
[Do not move your tongue trying to hasten it. Its collection and recitation are Our affair. So when We recite it, follow its recitation. Then its explanation is Our concern.] (Al-Qiyamah 75: 16-19)

Hijab

I knew I had to do it, but I never thought about doing it seriously...I known it had to be done, but I kept in delaying...Until it was the time...I started looking for outfits and matching the colors...Eventually, I wore the Hijab...

The first thing i noticed after I started wearing my Hijab is that people are not starring at me...something had changed...I felt more comfortable. I was pleased because I finally felt brave enough to put on my Hijab... I would never think of taking it off or regret for wearing Hijab...I do believe that was one of the best things happened to me.






• Hijab refers to the complete covering of everything except the hands, face and feet in long, loose and non see-through garments.


• Muslim women are required to observe the hijab in front of any man they could theoretically marry. This means that hijab is not obligatory in front of the father, brothers, grandfathers, uncles or young children.


• An educated Muslim woman does this because she is following guidance from God and His prophet Muhammad recorded in the Qur'an, and in the Sunnah


• The main principle reason for the hijab is modesty, which is not wishing to receive unnecessary attention from people, such as admiration and flattery, envy, or, most importantly, sexual attraction from those other than her husband


• Elderly women
The rules are relaxed for elderly women:
"Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage - there is no blame on them if they lay aside their (outer) garments, provided they make not a wanton display of their beauty: but it is best for them to be modest: and Allah is One Who sees and knows all things".24:60
• Young girls are not required to wear Hijab. Women should start wearing Hijab from the time being at puberty.
